About the Role
We are seeking talented individuals to join our maintenance team as Heavy Vehicle Diesel Fitters and Light/Medium Vehicle Fitters. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our equipment and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct preventative and breakdown maintenance of mining machinery, site infrastructure, and support equipment.
- Ensure adequate scoping of corrective work to facilitate the planning process.
- Foster positive and productive working relationships and team culture.
- Team members are expected to demonstrate focus on safety, achievement, and team engagement in all aspects of their work.
- Complete Field Leadership activities as per KPIs.
- Lead and support continuous improvement opportunities.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Mechanical trade essential.
- C Class Drivers Licence essential.
- Ability to suitably work within planned or breakdown type maintenance environments.
- Adaptable, team-orientated approach with strong interpersonal skills and a genuine commitment to safety.
- Motivated individual who seeks a challenge and can work with minimal supervision.
- Experience in or adaptable to learning work management software tools.
- Demonstrated computer skills.
- Previous experience with hydraulic systems, large excavators, and drills would be advantageous.
- Previous experience with light and medium vehicles would be advantageous.
- Experience gained in a shutdown environment would be advantageous, but not essential.
