About the Role 

BMA Caval Ridge Mine are currently seeking applications from passionate individuals that are interested in being considered for permanent roles within the business. These roles are forecast to begin throughout mid to late 2024 and into 2025, across several different departments within the mine.  We want to hear from you if you are looking to join our world-class operational teams either now or in the near future. We believe that people are the key to our continued success; having the right people working within our organisation at all levels will allow us to become the safest, most productive mine site we can be and sustain our operations well into the future. 

Roles will be Fly-in-Fly-Out from Brisbane or Cairns, or Drive-in-Drive-out. The roster will be a 7:7 rotating roster.

Roles Include:  

  • Multi Skilled operators - 2 or more skills from the below list

  • SIngle Skilled operators - 1 skill from the below list

  • Haul Truck Operators - CAT 793 | 797, Komatsu 930E

  • Excavator/Shovel Operators - Hitachi 5600 | CAT 6040, 6060

  • Grader Operators - CAT 16M | 24M

  • Dozer Operators - CAT D10 | D11  

 
About You

  • 12 months minimum experience in Coal Mining

  • Minimum ‘C’ Class Driver’s licence 

  • Current Standard 11 or BMA Core

  • Strong communication skills and a track record of achieving results through influence 

  • Motivated, enthusiastic individual who shows initiative and can work with minimal supervision  

  • Flexible, team-orientated approach with strong interpersonal skills 

  • Ability to work to deadlines and remain effective under pressure 

About Our Process
