About the Role

The National Group is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at the Blackwater Mine site. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the availability and reliability of our equipment, while also providing leadership and supervision to our maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance
  • Lead and supervise a team of maintenance personnel to ensure effective and efficient maintenance operations
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance Superintendent to develop and implement maintenance strategies that align with business objectives
  • Conduct regular equipment inspections and perform troubleshooting to identify and resolve maintenance issues
  • Develop and maintain relationships with equipment suppliers and vendors to ensure optimal equipment performance and availability
  • Provide input to the development of maintenance budgets and resource allocation plans
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • Australian recognized trade completion certificate and minimum 5 years post-trade experience
  • Current G1, G8, G9 & G2 tickets (or equivalent)
  • Experience working on CAT mobile mining equipment is essential
  • Ex-OEM experience highly regarded
  • Current QLD Coal Board Medical and Standard 11 required
  • Outstanding troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Current BMA Blackwater Induction and Supervisor pass-out would be advantageous
