Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Maintenance Performance: As a Reliability Engineer, you will be part of a team that drives maintenance performance and benchmarking through defect elimination, analysis, continuous improvement, cost control, strategy, and reliability fundamentals.
  • Build Business Partnerships: You will build business partnerships and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders across the business to support reliability improvements and the elimination of defects.
  • Analyze Performance Metrics: You will analyze performance metrics and benchmark performance across the site and other BHP businesses to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop Maintenance Strategies: You will develop and optimize maintenance strategies that enable plant safety, reliability, and performance to be maximized.
  • Develop Team Capability: You will develop and increase the capability of the maintenance execution team to drive safety, reliability, efficiency, quality of work, and 'maintenance as a profession'.
About You
  • Electrical/Mechanical Engineering Degree or Trade Qualification: You must have a degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or a trade qualification.
  • Safety Conscious: You must be safety conscious with proven ability to demonstrate risk management and HSEC behaviors.
  • Passionate about Maintenance: You must be passionate about maintenance, continuous improvement, and reliability/defect elimination.
  • Excellent Time Management Skills: You must have excellent time management skills and be able to prioritize tasks.
  • Team Player: You must be a team player, but also be able to work effectively unsupervised and be highly self-motivated.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: You must have excellent communication skills to communicate well across multiple levels and disciplines.
