About the Role

We are currently seeking applications from experienced coal miners who are interested in joining our production coal team. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery, maintaining equipment, and working collaboratively with other team members to achieve our production goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate heavy machinery, including haul trucks, graders, and dozers
  • Maintain equipment and perform routine maintenance tasks
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve production goals
  • Participate in safety training and adhere to safety protocols
  • Meet production targets and deadlines

Requirements

  • 12 months minimum experience in coal mining in an open cut mine
  • Minimum 'C' Class Driver's licence
  • Current Standard 11 or BMA Core
  • Safety conscious and focused
  • Strong communication skills and a track record of achieving results through influence
  • Motivated, enthusiastic individual who shows initiative and can work with minimal supervision
  • Flexible, team-orientated approach with strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work to deadlines and remain effective under pressure
