About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned leader to spearhead our insurance operations team. As the Technical Claims Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction and delivering objectives for our business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive strategic initiatives across insurance operations to enhance efficiency and outcomes.
  • Mentor teams to foster high-performance culture and customer-centric approach.
  • Develop and implement best practice claims handling to improve results and reduce duration.
  • Partner with industry peers to strengthen our insurance capability and reputation as a thought leader.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks and embed robust risk management practices.
  • Build collaborative relationships with key stakeholders to deliver aligned, customer-first solutions.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years' leadership experience in Life Insurance operations within large, complex organisations with strong background in claims and/or underwriting.
  • Proven ability to lead change, manage ambiguity, and deliver transformation.
  • Demonstrated capability in stakeholder engagement at senior levels.
  • Exceptional leadership skills, with a track record of motivating and developing teams.
  • Strong commercial acumen, analytical mindset, and problem-solving ability.
  • Proven customer focus and a strategic mindset with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Commitment to quality, risk management, and customer-centric outcomes.
