Senior Claims Strategist Position

This role will see you drive the future of our insurance operations, delivering customer-focused claims solutions while shaping our broader insurance strategy.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic direction and continuous improvement initiatives across insurance operations to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Lead and mentor teams, fostering a high-performance culture that prioritizes customer-centricity and collaboration.
  • Drive best practice claims handling with a focus on improved outcomes, reduced duration, and enhanced customer experience.
  • Pursue partnerships with industry peers to strengthen our insurance capability and reputation as a thought leader in the field.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory frameworks and embed strong risk management practices to mitigate potential risks.
  • Build collaborative relationships with key stakeholders to deliver aligned, customer-first solutions that meet the evolving needs of our members.

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

  • 5+ years' leadership experience in Life Insurance operations within large, complex organizations with a strong background in claims and/or underwriting in Life Insurance.
  • A proven ability to lead change, manage ambiguity, and deliver transformational results.
  • Demonstrated capability in stakeholder engagement at senior levels, including building and maintaining effective relationships.
  • Exceptional leadership skills, with a track record of motivating and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong commercial acumen, analytical mindset, and problem-solving ability to drive informed decision-making.
  • Proven customer focus and a strategic mindset with excellent communication and negotiation skills to build trust and rapport with stakeholders.
  • A commitment to quality, risk management, and customer-centric outcomes that prioritize member satisfaction and loyalty.
