Job Description

The QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute is seeking a visionary leader to spearhead the strategic and operational growth of its Cell Therapeutics facility.

As General Manager, you will lead a diverse team across scientific, technical, and operational domains, driving excellence in customer service and innovation. Your proven experience in leadership will be pivotal in achieving commercial sustainability and organisational growth.

This esteemed role requires someone who can inspire and motivate teams to tackle complex challenges, while upholding the highest standards of quality and regulatory compliance.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A strong track record of leadership in scientific, technical, or clinical contexts
  • Proven ability to drive business development opportunities and align resources with strategic objectives
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Degree in science, biological science, or medical science, with postgraduate qualifications being highly desirable
