The role of a Program Director – Strategy & Business Development is a permanent, full-time position offering a hybrid work environment across Mackay or Proserpine, QLD.

About the Position:

Reef Catchments Limited is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to sustainable natural resource management in Queensland's Mackay, Whitsunday, and Isaac regions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategic direction for Reef Catchments' growth initiatives
  • Serve as a key liaison between government, industry, and community stakeholders
  • Secure funding opportunities through grants, tenders, and partnerships
  • Leverage regional NRM challenges to drive innovation and impact
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in natural resource management or related fields
  • Proven track record in securing investment and leading multi-stream programs
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and leadership skills
  • Data analysis, communication, and problem-solving abilities
