Job Description

As a key member of the Safran Electronics & Defense team, this Supply Chain Director will play a critical role in managing the end-to-end supply chain process for high-performance electronics products. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in supply chain management and a deep understanding of export controls.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage the entire supply chain process, from procurement to delivery.
  • Develop and implement strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of high-performance electronics products.
  • Perform regular supply risk audits and monitor local supply performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local suppliers to ensure a stable and reliable supply chain.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant export controls and regulations.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in business management or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in supply chain management, with a focus on high-performance electronics.
  • Sound working knowledge of export controls and regulations.
  • Experience working with ERP systems and quality standards such as AS/NZS9001, AS/NZS9110, and AS/NZS14001.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Department of Defence security clearance and a Foreign Worker Authorisation.
