Job Description:

Hoodlum Engineering Pty Ltd is a reputable engineering business with over 17 years of experience in the local community.

This position suits a professional, proactive team member who thrives on working autonomously as well as part of a collaborative team.

Your day-to-day role will include:

  • Answering incoming phone calls and attending to queries
  • Assisting with the daily running of the office
  • Coordinating work schedules, including weather alternatives on rainy days
  • Assisting with tenders and quotes
  • Processing and reconciling invoices using Xero/Myob
  • Ordering stationery and office supplies
  • Managing inventory and stock
  • Data entry and Microsoft Excel experience
  • Document management and filing

To succeed, you will need:

  • Proven experience in an administration position in a family-run company
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with accounts payable & receivable in either Myob or Xero would be highly regarded
  • A self-motivated, proactive, and positive team player who is keen to make the role their own
  • The ability to communicate with a diverse range of customers
