This position suits a professional, proactive team member who thrives on working autonomously as well as part of a collaborative team.
Your day-to-day role will include:
- Answering incoming phone calls and attending to queries
- Assisting with the daily running of the office
- Coordinating work schedules, including weather alternatives on rainy days
- Assisting with tenders and quotes
- Processing and reconciling invoices using Xero/Myob
- Ordering stationery and office supplies
- Managing inventory and stock
- Data entry and Microsoft Excel experience
- Document management and filing
To succeed, you will need:
- Proven experience in an administration position in a family-run company
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with accounts payable & receivable in either Myob or Xero would be highly regarded
- A self-motivated, proactive, and positive team player who is keen to make the role their own
- The ability to communicate with a diverse range of customers
