About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Documents and Records Management Specialist to join our team at Box Hill Institute. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective management of our documents and records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a robust document and records management function to ensure compliance with organizational and legislative requirements.
  • Support employees in maintaining accurate and accessible information, stored, distributed, and managed according to organizational and legislative requirements.
  • Assist in the implementation of compliance and monitoring programs to assess record-keeping practices, develop documents and records management policies and procedures, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Assess and respond to requests associated with relevant legislation and regulations.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant experience in document and records management.
  • A current Victorian Driver's license.
  • Knowledge of applicable legislation related to records management.
  • Experience in uplifting organizational capability and development of strategies.
  • Knowledge of relevant retention and disposal authorities (RDAs) with the ability to apply the schedules to systematically dispose of records.
  • High-level problem-solving skills, including the ability to solve operational issues.
  • Sound communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
  • Organizational and planning skills, ensuring projects and BAU work are delivered in a timely manner.
