Project Manager Job Description

Join a leading construction company as a Project Manager and be part of exciting development in Perth. Work on high rise residential complex, community facilities, sporting facilities, and other projects.

As a successful candidate, you will have excellent onsite management skills, be able to deliver projects safely, efficiently, and effectively. You will lead and manage teams, build strong relationships with stakeholders, and ensure effective planning and communication.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage site resources including subcontractors, trades, staff, and equipment
  • Deliver projects meeting project success criteria's of stakeholder relationships, time, cost, quality, safety, and process compliance
  • Lead, manage, and mentor team members to achieve their full potential and align behaviors with company values
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Supervise and coordinate all site activities including labor
  • Ensure effective planning and communication of all activities
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working for a head contractor is essential
  • Experience working on commercial new build projects $80m+
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager working on construction projects in Perth
  • Proven experience of effectively managing a team including sub-contractors, in a professional manner and ensuring longevity of relationships
  • Good understanding of health and safety legislation and requirements, has proven experience of effectively controlling site safety
