About the role

Join DTMT Construction as a Planner - Civil Construction, based in Bibra Lake, Western Australia. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in planning and scheduling critical activities for large-scale civil construction projects, ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of these important infrastructure developments.

What you'll be doing

  • Develop, maintain and optimise detailed project schedules and resource plans to meet deadlines and budget constraints
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and delays, proactively adjusting plans to keep projects on track
  • Provide regular progress updates and forecasting to management and project teams
  • Collaborate with construction, engineering and site teams to align planning and schedules
  • Leverage data and industry-leading planning software to drive continuous improvement
  • Document and implement planning best practices to enhance efficiency
  • Contribute to the development of project management capabilities across the organisation

What we're looking for

  • Significant experience in planning and scheduling for large civil construction projects
  • Proficiency in using project management software such as Microsoft Project or Primavera P6
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve planning challenges
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline
  • Proven track record of driving continuous improvement and optimisation in project planning
