About the Role

In this exciting opportunity, you will be responsible for providing commercial advice and managing key strategic, operational, and financial risks. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to stimulate behaviours that drive value and achieve strategic objectives.

Your strong technical understanding and deep knowledge of financial strategies and objectives will enable you to deliver remarkable financial and commercial analysis that has a strong, positive impact on Telstra's key activities and initiatives.

You will also be responsible for delivering high-quality financial reporting, planning, and analysis of Telstra Purple, as well as managing the forecast/budget and liaising with various finance SMEs to drive consolidated financial reporting.

In addition, you will support the NAS finance team with end-to-end views, complete internal and external group reporting obligations, and present to directors.

As a Strategic Financial Advisor, you will take accountability for assigned work tasks, working independently when contributing to core activities such as the preparation of periodic management reporting and financial results for assigned business areas.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have a CA or CPA qualification or be working towards one. You will also have experience in both management accounting and technical accounting.

Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for numbers and improving financial performance are essential. You will also be able to demonstrate a growth mindset with tenacity for problem-solving and a willingness to seek information and challenge the status quo.

Able to work collaboratively with different people and deliver amazing experiences for customers, you will be motivated by the opportunity to make a real difference at Telstra.

Estimated salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per annum, plus superannuation and other benefits.
