We are seeking a dedicated professional to take on an Asset Performance Officer role with a busy government organisation. In this role, you will undertake and report on field inspection activities and outcomes to scope and monitor the delivery of work, ensuring contractor compliance with maintenance contract requirements. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining our properties to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work Scoping: Deliver timely, accurate, and effective scoping of works by adhering to the scoping program.
  • Maintenance Program: Develop, implement, and manage a planned maintenance program using assessment data and local knowledge for allocated properties.
  • Work Delivery: Ensure appropriate delivery of works and develop action plans to address work issues when necessary.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with Australian Building Codes, Housing Portfolio standards, policies, and contract requirements when assigning work to contractors.
  • Inspections: Conduct timely, accurate inspections according to the program and standards, maintaining records of inspections and required actions.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain positive relationships with a range of stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in field inspection and maintenance program management.
  • Strong understanding of Australian Building Codes and Housing Portfolio standards.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective action plans.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • A valid drivers licence, White Card is essential.
  • A valid WWCC or the ability to obtain one is essential.
  • National Criminal Record Check will be required.
