Regional Sales Director

As a seasoned sales professional, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive international sales strategy to expand market presence and increase revenue in the SE Asia and Australasia markets.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving revenue growth in the mining or construction industry, with a strong focus on building relationships with international clients and partners.
We are seeking an experienced leader who can analyse market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions, while also leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing sales team to achieve revenue targets.
The successful candidate will be based on the East Coast of Australia, with the option to work from Sydney, Brisbane, or Melbourne. The Hensley team is highly collaborative and diverse, offering a dynamic and open work environment where you will work closely with key members of the sales, marketing, and engineering teams.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA would be advantageous.
- Proven experience in sales team leadership in the mining or construction industry, with a track record of driving revenue growth.
- A minimum of 10 years' experience in industry sales would be highly regarded.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to travel locally and internationally as needed.
- Proficient in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
