We are seeking an experienced Enterprise IT Project Manager to lead our Agile delivery team. As a servant leader and coach for Agile Release Train (ART), you will support the implementation of new and better ways of working using Agile frameworks and methods.
About the Role:
The key responsibilities and duties of this role include:
- Developing a delivery plan and facilitating execution across a diverse set of Agile development teams to ensure strategy and execution alignment
- Managing financials including obtaining estimates and resource plans to develop a consolidated forecast, then analyzing any variances across multiple squads
- Reporting and communication, including keeping key stakeholders informed of overall progress against the release commitments
- Providing coaching to help resolve issues across the relevant delivery squads
- Facilitating Agile release execution and planning events, including but not limited to progressive elaboration of breaking down large units of work into epics and features in collaboration with scrum masters and their squads
- Managing dependencies across squads and removing roadblocks to drive outcomes with product owners and business stakeholders
- Escalation points for dealing with issues, risks and removing bottlenecks/impediments
- Managing and optimizing the flow of value and driving relentless improvement by assessing the agility level with a focus on improvement
- Cross-functional leadership: You will be expected to lead cross-functional teams consisting of software developers, QA engineers, DevOps engineers, technical writers, and other specialists.
About You:
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- At least 10 years of project management experience relating to major IT projects, preferably in an enterprise setting
- Proven track record of delivering complex IT projects on time, within budget, and with high-quality results
- Experience in Agile methodologies, such as Scrum and Kanban, and ability to apply these principles in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with cloud-based technologies, such as Azure, and containerization tools, like Docker
- Knowledge of data analytics and visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
