About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Manager to lead our front-line team at UniLodge @ UC - UC Lodge.

This is a permanent full-time opportunity, working 38 hours from Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Support: Assist residents with enquiries related to their residency, studies, general needs, and overall wellbeing.
  • Team Leadership: Build a high-performing team by aiding with recruitment, delivering relevant training and development opportunities, and providing timely feedback on performance.
  • Accounting and Administration: Ensure accurate accounting of all resident-related accounts for rental and sundries, and complete check-in and check-out processes for residents.
  • Facilities Management: Liaise with third parties regarding building facilities management, including maintenance, contract cleaners, and security.
Requirements
  • Experience: Similar work experience within student accommodation or hospitality industry.
  • Customer Focus: Strong customer service focus and ability to resolve questions, queries, and issues raised by team members, residents, and prospective residents/visitors.
  • Autonomy: Ability to work autonomously, manage a diverse range of tasks independently and reliably, and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to think creatively and independently solve problems.
  • Technical Skills: Confident computer skills, including ability to use various systems and Microsoft Suite.
  • Work Rights: Unrestricted work rights in Australia.
  • Certifications: National Police Check (completed within last 3 months), at your own cost, and Working with Vulnerable People's Check (ACT).
