Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused individual to lead our front-line team in the efficient and effective operations of reception. As the Customer Service Manager, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional experience for our residents, while also ensuring that our team is equipped to handle a fast-paced environment.
You will be responsible for:
- Assisting residents with enquiries related to their residency, studies, general needs, and overall wellbeing.
- Aiding in the recruitment process and delivering relevant training and development opportunities to ensure that team members can reach their true potential.
- Providing timely feedback to team members on their performance in a professional and encouraging manner.
- Ensuring accurate accounting of all resident-related accounts for rental and sundries.
- Completing the check-in and out process for our residents at the beginning and end of their tenancy.
- Liaising with third parties regarding building facilities management, including maintenance, contract cleaners, and security.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Similar work experience within student accommodation or hospitality industry.
- A strong customer service focus.
- The ability to work autonomously.
- A desire to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Ability to manage a diverse range of tasks independently and reliably.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to think creatively and independently solve problems.
- Unrestricted work rights in Australia.
- National Police Check (completed within last 3 months).
- Working with Vulnerable People's Check (ACT).
