Job Title:

Plant Operations Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Operations Director to lead our resin plant operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of plant operations, ensuring seamless production and timely delivery of products to our customers.

About the Role:

  • Operational Leadership: Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, productivity, and quality standards across the plant.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, industry certifications, and company policies, identifying and mitigating risks to minimize potential impacts on operations.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including Engineering, Supply Chain, Technical, EH&S, and Commercial teams, to ensure aligned operations and timely resolution of technical issues.
  • Performance Metrics and Reporting: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure plant performance, monitor progress against targets, and report findings to senior management.

  • Leadership and Teamwork: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, motivate staff, and drive collaboration towards shared goals.
  • Strategic Planning: Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with experience in developing and implementing plans to achieve business objectives.
  • Process Improvement: Familiarity with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, with a focus on continuous improvement and process optimization.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas, negotiate, and influence diverse stakeholders.
