Job Title: Operations Director
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire operational process of a concrete batch plant, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
- Manage the batching process, deliveries, and oversee the batcher and transport to guarantee quality and production requirements are met.
- Train drivers and site staff to adhere to Australian standards.
- Coordinate onsite management of batching process and deliveries by managing the batcher and transport to ensure timely delivery and quality control.
- Identify opportunities for concrete supply growth and formalize quotes and tenders with clients.
- Develop strong relationships with key client contacts, focusing on business development and opportunities.
- Strong leadership skills, including planning, organization, and evaluation.
- Operating knowledge of heavy plant and equipment.
- Understanding of safety principles and regulations.
- Previous management and supervisory experience.
- Intermediate to advanced computer literacy in Microsoft Office programs and systems.
A well-organized and detail-oriented professional with excellent verbal and written communication skills is required. Self-motivation and the ability to work independently are essential for success in this role.
