Operations Director

We are seeking an experienced Operations Director to lead our engineering and maintenance function. As a key member of the site management team, you will deliver innovative solutions to ensure efficient plant operation.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage all aspects of the engineering and maintenance function across our sites.
- Develop and implement plant optimization strategies to improve productivity.
- Establish planned maintenance activities to ensure effective plant operation.
- Oversee project planning, execution, and delivery while ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
- Drive process optimization and technical innovation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align engineering efforts with business objectives.
- Degree in Engineering (mechanical, electrical, civil, or related field) highly beneficial.
- At least 10 years of management experience within a similar role, particularly in the manufacturing industry.
- Ability to work with a unionized workforce and foster collaborative working relationships.
- Excellent experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and root cause analysis.
- Good knowledge of MS Office required; SAP an advantage.
- Ability to mentor, develop, and coach team members.
- Yearly pay review.
