
Technical Support Specialist

Deliver high-quality IT support to ensure secure, reliable, and fit-for-purpose experiences for users. This role involves advanced support across all user-facing IT services, including Service Desk triage, priority support, walk-up Tech Bar assistance, M365 user technologies, and AV/meeting room technology support.
Main Responsibilities:- Manage and maintain the Endpoint Standard Operating Environment (SOE), including deployment, patching, and configuration of desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
- Package and deploy applications using tools such as PowerShell, Intune, or other platforms; ensuring applications are tested, documented, and delivered reliably across environments.
- Support hardware and software asset lifecycle and IT Service Management (ITSM) governance, including provisioning, tagging, Configuration Management Database (CMDB) updates, and decommissioning.
- Mentor team members and help build capability across both the team and customer base through training, technical leadership, IT inductions, refresher sessions, and contributions to standard operating procedures, knowledge base articles, and training materials.
- Extensive experience supporting enterprise desktop and mobile platforms with strong hands-on skills across Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, hardware, and basic networking.
- Proven experience managing SOEs and application packaging, including scripting or automation using tools like PowerShell and Intune; familiarity with patch deployment and endpoint compliance.
- ITIL v4 Foundation certification or equivalent understanding, with proficiency in ITSM platforms such as Ivanti or ServiceNow; comfortable working within service level agreements (SLAs) and contributing to service documentation.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with experience delivering training or onboarding sessions and supporting asset/configuration management activities.
