Practice Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Practice Manager to lead and impact our client's medical centre operations. As a key member of our team, you will be instrumental in creating a supportive and productive environment for both the team and patients.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily operations to ensure the practice runs efficiently and effectively, managing scheduling, staffing, and patient flow to optimise productivity and service quality.
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of administrative and support staff as well as doctors, fostering a positive work culture, promoting professional development, and addressing any performance issues promptly.
- Coherent in budgeting, financial reporting, and resource allocation, implementing cost-effective measures without compromising the quality of care.
- Enhance patient satisfaction by streamlining appointment processes, handling patient complaints with empathy, and ensuring a welcoming environment.
- Ensure the practice adheres to all healthcare regulations and standards, managing risk assessments, maintaining confidentiality, and implementing best practices for safety and compliance.
- Collaborate with medical staff to develop and implement strategic plans aimed at improving practice operations, expanding services, and achieving the organisation's goals.
- Previous experience with GP's and Medicare Numbers.
- Proven experience as a Practice Manager or in a similar administrative role within a healthcare setting.
- Strong understanding of medical office procedures and healthcare regulations.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills with a dynamic insight to problem-solving.
- Proficiency in practice management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Financial acumen with experience in budgeting and resource management.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
