We are seeking a highly skilled CSSD Department Leader to join our dynamic and challenging perioperative leadership team in a high acuity surgical site.

As a CSSD Manager at our hospital, you will be responsible for:

  • Operational Management
  • Acting as an advocate for our Quality Management System and promoting a safe work environment.
  • Supporting your team to achieve streamlined operational management.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant standards and best practices in the CSSD specialty area.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 4–5 years' experience in a senior role within a CSSD environment.
  • A Certificate III or IV in Sterilisation from an accredited provider.
  • Australian Work Rights.
  • Solid knowledge of accreditation standards ACHS/AS/NZ 4187 Standards and HICMR.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and teamwork skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Intermediate computer literacy, including MS Office and databases.
  • An interest in promoting best practice patient care.
  • A focus on professional development.
