We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CSSD Manager to join our high acuity surgical site. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills and grow within our supportive perioperative leadership team.

As a CSSD Manager, you will be responsible for the operational management of the CSSD Department within Perioperative Services. Your key duties will include:

  • Attending to the day-to-day management of the CSSD Department
  • Acting as an advocate for our Quality Management System and promoting a safe work environment
  • Supporting your team to achieve streamlined operational management
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant standards and best practices in the CSSD specialty

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 4-5 years' experience in a senior role within a CSSD environment
  • Certificate III or IV in Sterilisation from an accredited provider
  • Australian Work Rights
  • Knowledge of accreditation standards ACHS/AS/NZ 4187 and HICMR
  • Leadership ability and teamwork skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Intermediate computer literacy, including MS Office and databases
  • An interest in promoting best practice patient care and professional development
