CSSD Management Opportunity

This is a unique chance to grow professionally within our perioperative leadership team.

We are leaders in orthopaedics, neurosurgery, gynaecology, and general surgery, as well as one of NSW's premier maternity hospitals, caring for over 1,600 expectant families annually.

As a CSSD Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the operational management of the CSSD Department within Perioperative Services
  • Serving as an advocate for our Quality Management System and promoting a safe working environment
  • Supporting your team to achieve streamlined operational management
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant standards and best practices in the CSSD specialty

Mandatory requirements include:

  • 4-5 years' experience in a senior role within a CSSD environment
  • Certificate III or IV in Sterilisation from an accredited provider
  • Australian Work Rights
  • Knowledge of accreditation standards ACHS/AS/NZ 4187 and HICMR
  • Leadership ability and teamwork skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Intermediate computer literacy, including MS Office and databases
  • An interest in promoting best practice patient care and professional development
