A unique chance is available for an experienced CSSD professional to lead the perioperative management team at a private hospital in Sydney.

This is a permanent full-time position, responsible for managing the operational performance of the CSSD Department within the Perioperative Services area.

The role entails:

  • ">
  • Managing the day-to-day operations of the CSSD Department;">
  • Acting as a champion for our Quality Management System and promoting a safe working environment;">
  • Supporting the team to achieve streamlined operational performance;">
  • Meeting relevant standards and best practices consistent with the CSSD specialty area.">

The ideal candidate will possess:

">
  • ">
  • Current Registration with AHPRA;">
  • Minimum 4-5 years' experience working in a senior role within a CSSD environment;">
  • Certificate III or IV in Sterilisation held from an accredited provider;">
  • Australian Work Rights;">
  • Sound knowledge of accreditation standards ACHS/AS/NZ 4187 Standards and HICMR;">
  • Demonstrated ability to show leadership and collaboration skills;">
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;">
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail;">
  • Intermediate computer literacy skills - including MS Office and various databases;">
  • An interest in promoting best practice patient care;">
  • A focus on professional development.">
