Perioperative Services Leadership Opportunity

This is an exciting chance to develop your skills and grow within a supportive perioperative leadership team. As a CSSD Manager, you will be responsible for the operational management of the current CSSD Department.

You will act as an advocate for our Quality Management System and promote a safe work environment. Your team will support you to achieve streamlined operational management, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and best practices in the CSSD specialty area.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate the management of the current CSSD Department within the Perioperative Services area.
  • Promote our Quality Management System and ensure a safe workplace.
  • Sponsor your team to deliver efficient operational management.
  • Evaluate adherence to relevant standards and best practices in the CSSD sector.

Necessary Qualifications and Skills:

  • At least 4-5 years' experience in a senior position within a CSSD setting.
  • Certificate III or IV in Sterilisation from an accredited institution.
  • Australian Work Rights.
  • Familiarity with accreditation standards ACHS/AS/NZ 4187 Standards and HICMR.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and teamwork competencies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Intermediate computer literacy, including MS Office and databases.
  • An interest in promoting optimal patient care.
  • A focus on professional development.
