CSSD Manager Opportunity

Perioperative leadership professionals with a passion for managing high-acuity surgical environments are sought after to fill a dynamic CSSD Manager position.

This is an exceptional opportunity to develop your skills and grow within our supportive perioperative leadership team, collaborating closely with multiple healthcare facilities in NSW.

As a leader in orthopaedics, neurosurgery, gynaecology, and general surgery, we offer a progressive environment that supports over 1,600 expectant families annually at one of the state's premier maternity hospitals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategically lead the operational management of the CSSD Department within Perioperative Services
  • Promote Quality Management System initiatives and ensure a safe working environment
  • Support teams to achieve streamlined operational management
  • Ensure compliance with relevant standards and best practices in the CSSD specialty

Requirements:

  • 4-5 years' experience in a senior role within a CSSD environment
  • Certificate III or IV in Sterilisation from an accredited provider
  • Australian Work Rights
  • Knowledge of accreditation standards ACHS/AS/NZ 4187 and HICMR
  • Leadership ability and teamwork skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Intermediate computer literacy, including MS Office and databases
  • Interest in promoting best practice patient care and professional development
