**Commercial Contract Lead Role**

The purpose of this role is to lead the commercial management of contracts with key stakeholders, ensuring successful delivery and outcomes.

  • Develop and implement commercial strategies to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Manage contract negotiations and administration, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure contract success and identify areas for improvement.

This role requires a high level of commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and effective communication skills. The ideal candidate will have experience in contract management, negotiation, and administration, as well as strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and implement commercial strategies to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Manage contract negotiations and administration, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

  • Tertiary qualifications in a related commercial field or a minimum of 5 years' experience in Commercial Management, Contract Management and Contract Administration;
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities;
  • Previous experience working with all stakeholders (internally and externally);
  • Commercial acumen, ideally including a working knowledge of Defence Procurement Policy and ASDEFCON frameworks;
  • Financial Understanding and exposure to Key Performance Indicators;
  • Previous experience with Governance process and procedure.
