Job Title: Project Officer, Prevention

About the Role

The role of a prevention officer involves providing support for Inclusion and/or Prevention activity within a team, ensuring effective delivery of education, awareness and engagement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and provide documentation to support management and coordination of gender-based violence primary prevention programs.
  • Provide administrative and business support to a team as required.
  • Regularly review legislation, standards and policy to ensure compliance with relevant authorities and best practice.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on induction and compliance training for staff and students.
  • Plan and prioritise work and identify barriers to achieving outcomes, finding ways to overcome them and evaluating progress.
  • Develop practical solutions based on stakeholder needs.

To be successful, you'll have a degree with subsequent experience; or extensive experience and specialist knowledge; or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
