Job Title: Claims Liaison Officer Team Leader

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Claims Liaison Officer Team Leader to join our team at Cover-More. As a Claims Liaison Officer Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading and developing a high-performing team, overseeing the day-to-day work of your team to ensure accurate and timely claims processing, and instilling a team attitude towards delivering consistent, professional, and proactive customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team to achieve business objectives
  • Oversee the day-to-day work of your team to ensure accurate and timely claims processing
  • Instill a team attitude towards delivering consistent, professional, and proactive customer service
  • Assist with call management of frontline complaints received within the Claims Team
  • Ensure financial responsibility and effective management by identifying trends, designing, and delivering programs to mitigate loss or leakage to claims and business impact
  • Review Straight Through Claims (aka Fast Track Claims) completed by the CLO team to ensure quality metrics are met and appropriate claims assessment processes have been followed

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a frontline leadership position, ideally in insurance or financial services industries
  • Understanding of insurance legislation, regulations, and guidelines applicable to the department
  • Eye for best practice and continuous improvement
  • Ability to hit individual KPIs and help the team reach theirs
  • Experience operating in complex, fluid environments
  • Passion for people – both customers and team members
