Job Description

This position offers a unique opportunity to join a leading freight forwarding company in a customer-facing role.

You will be responsible for providing exceptional service to clients, including responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring timely communication.

Your goal will be to build strong relationships with customers, understand their needs, and provide tailored solutions to meet their expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • End-to-end customer service functions, including liaison with local, interstate, and overseas offices.
  • Assist with producing quotations for existing clients as well as new business opportunities.
  • Provide timely updates on any quote requests with internal and external parties.
  • Evaluate profitability of each file, in accordance with business expectations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A proven track record in an Operations/Customer Service role within the freight forwarding industry.
  • A highly organized and efficient individual who can work in a fast-paced environment.
  • A keen interest in the commercial side of business operations.
  • A sound understanding of freight rates and incoterms.
  • CargoWise experience is an asset (not essential).
  • Excellent communication skills.
