We are seeking a dedicated customer service professional to fill a permanent role within our freight forwarding and logistics services company. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, can communicate effectively at all levels, and is a team player.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, including:

  • Providing quotes, reporting, and regular updates on product arrival dates and delivery status
  • Coordinating dispatch of shipping documents to customers and internal network offices
  • Arranging bookings with carriers and co-loaders, and executing shipping documentation
  • Monitoring financial status of accounts against approved credit limits and approaching SLAs
  • Order follow-up and maintenance or order reports for customers
  • Managing rate enquiries
  • Seeking new sales opportunities with existing customers
  • Liaising with warehouse and operational staff to ensure client requirements are met

You will work closely with our commercial manager and report directly to them. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of the freight forwarding sector, specifically sea freight experience.

This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility and opportunity to work from home at least two days per week.
