About the Role

The Austin Health organisation is seeking an experienced Mental Health Clinician to join their team as a Senior Clinician in the Inner North Infant and Child Team. This full-time position offers 38 hours of work per week at the Heidelberg location, with opportunities for off-site work.

As a Senior Mental Health Clinician, you will provide high-quality clinical case management services to infants, children, and their families. Your role will involve providing expert clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment interventions using developmental, systemic, and collaborative strength-based frameworks.

You will be required to lead, mentor, and coach junior clinicians in partnership with the Team Leader, as well as provide discipline-specific supervision to others across the organisation. You will also participate in continuing education activities and collaborate with multiple teams across the division.

A regular day in this role will see you assessing and treating patients, liaising with family members and caregivers to promote patient care, facilitating coordinated approaches to total patient management, and participating in ongoing professional development.

  • A relevant qualification and current AHPRA registration

Salary

$120,000 - $140,000 per annum (plus superannuation)
