About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health / AOD Practice Improvement Lead to join our Consultation Liaison Psychiatry team at Austin Health. The successful candidate will have expertise in providing senior clinical leadership, education, and capacity building within the General Hospital to support AOD consumers and carers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide mental health consultation and liaison services to nurses within the acute hospital area.
  • Work collaboratively with Registered Nurses to provide care for patients with mental health issues and substance use disorders.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based integrated responses to people with mental health and substance use issues (Dual Diagnosis).
