Child and Family Health Specialist

The purpose of this role is to provide high-quality patient care and clinical support in maternal and child health, including immunizations, developmental screenings, and parenting advice.
This position supports the promotion of healthy outcomes and quality improvement initiatives in Indigenous communities.
The specialist reports directly to the Team Leader of the Healthy for Life Program.
- Registered nurse or midwife with a passion for child and family health
- Ability to work effectively with children and families from diverse backgrounds
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to primary healthcare principles and practices
- Understanding of issues impacting Indigenous communities
- Certificate of Aboriginality
- Minimum 12 months experience in child and family health
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
