Job Role:

The Director of Strategic Partnerships leads the strategic function for our team, aligned to a specific sales patch. The role is focused on driving client results through connected, integrated and customized business-oriented solutions and partnerships.

This position works with cross-functional teams to generate demand and create market-leading pitches – leveraging insights, assets & brands from across various portfolios.

  • Lead a team consisting of strategy, solutions and insights functions that creates valued business partnerships and proactively identifies business opportunities for clients.
  • Work with sales, digital and product teams to generate demand and create pitches that deliver on client's objectives/priorities.
  • Develop a strong understanding of client's drivers to address these needs through strategic advice, data and insights.
  • Provide leadership and direction and take action to build relationships with relevant stakeholders and externally with clients and agencies.

About You:

We're looking for an experienced professional with:

  • Experience within media, advertising, publishing or marketing industry.
  • Substantial experience in media strategy, planning and execution.
  • Understanding of how to lead a team with an eye for talent and ability to identify development opportunities.
  • Experience in client and category business planning, sales strategies, market pitching and securing revenue.
  • Experience developing commercial solutions and partnerships that drive revenue.
  • Ability to negotiate, problem-solve and overcome issues while maintaining a respectful approach.
  • Highly organized with an eye for detail and acumen for numbers.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills and keen understanding of narrative crafting.
