Lead Complex Partnerships for State-wide Growth
About the RoleThis is a challenging fixed term 5 year SES 1 contract. The Director will play a critical role in leading the management of major commercial partnerships, including public-private partnerships under the Victoria framework.
The role requires advanced commercial, financial and strategic skills to manage complex arrangements and ensure robust governance.
A key focus is to safeguard the state's investment in PPPs and other capital projects, ensuring they are commercially negotiated and managed to maximise economic value and operational outcomes.
The Director will drive a culture of continuous improvement in contract management and governance, building team capability and embedding lessons learned to strengthen processes.
Success in this role will depend on strong stakeholder engagement and leadership.
Qualifications and Skills- Relevant tertiary qualification would be highly regarded.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience in commercial partnership management, combined with excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
They will also possess a strong understanding of commercial and financial concepts, as well as the ability to think strategically and lead cross-functional teams.
