Technical Support Professional

Job Description:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and energetic person to fill the role of Technical Officer. The successful candidate will provide technical support to our teaching and research programs, helping to organise, move and set up equipment for practical classes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to our teaching and research programs
  • Organise, move and set up equipment for practical classes
  • Assist academics, researchers and students with experimental designs and equipment
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Diploma or other qualification suited to an Engineering environment
  • Understanding of work health and safety
  • 'Can-do' attitude and willingness to help others
  • Previous experience in a workshop or engineering-related role
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to take ownership of tasks from beginning to end

This is a full-time, ongoing position that attracts remuneration of $81,614 to $90,691pa plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
