Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled Group Reservations Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Sales and management of all group bookings of 10 rooms or more
  • Management of PCO group blocks relating to inventory, payment & group setup
  • Prompt input of reservations and data for all group enquiries & bookings
  • Preparation of group information sheets (group movements) and briefing of Hotel stakeholders prior to arrival of group
  • Managing Hotel inventory in relation to group reservations and monitoring potential wash of business
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a Front Office or Reservations role
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office & Opera
  • Service-oriented with an eye for detail
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrated initiative in a dynamic environment
  • Self-motivated and energetic with a strong focus & passion for hotel operations
  • Confident and articulate communication, negotiation, relationship, and networking skills
