Job Summary

Firesoft People is seeking a highly skilled Network Infrastructure Specialist to join our dynamic team.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned network engineer to work on large-scale redevelopment projects across Australia, designing and implementing network infrastructures in various environments such as stadiums, sports arenas, and hotels.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years' experience in a similar role and be able to competently carry out technical tasks independently, while also aiding and providing guidance to team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and administration to a broad network of clients.
  • Collect, analyse, and verify information to configure and/or integrate new hardware and software upgrades in an existing network.
  • Administer critical systems and functions including Wintel Windows Server, Active Directory VMWare vSphere, Office365, CommVault, MS Exchange.
  • Respond to and resolve technical incidents and problems within service level timeframes.
  • Maintain a high standard of support and administration documentation for technical services.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • In-depth experience with Cisco Meraki (or similar technology)
  • Fortigate firewalls (or similar technology)
  • HP Switches (or similar technology)
  • Experience administering enterprise Windows environments (Windows Server, Active Directory, VMWare vSphere, Office 365, CommVault, MS Exchange)
  • Powershell/administrative script experience is advantageous but not essential.
