We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Network Infrastructure Specialist. As part of this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our clients' network infrastructure.

Job Summary

About the Role

In this role, you will:

  • Design, implement, and maintain complex network infrastructure solutions for our clients.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify business requirements and develop tailored network solutions.
  • Work closely with technical teams to ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in network engineering and architecture, preferably in rail or transportation.
  • Experience with industrial communication protocols (Layer 2, Layer 3 networking config, Modbus, Ethernet/IP, Profinet, OPC-UA, CAN bus, DDS, SafeDDS).
  • Strong understanding of rail industry standards and regulations (e.g., AS 7770, TS 5070).
  • Proficiency in configuring and managing network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points).
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA Network+, CISSP) are a plus.
  • Knowledge of network, server, and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Effective collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
