Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Infrastructure Specialist to join our team in Sydney. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing network infrastructure solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Network Infrastructure Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:
  • Designing and implementing network infrastructure solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
  • Conducting capacity planning, performance monitoring, and tuning of specific infrastructure components.
  • Implementing new releases as required and investigating and installing new releases and patches to ensure the stability and availability of technology infrastructure services to the business.
  • Providing escalated support and technical assistance and assisting with the monitoring of issue resolution to ensure issues are resolved within a timely manner.
  • Assisting in the design of backup and recovery procedures and planning and undertaking effective Disaster Recovery and testing procedures to ensure effective Disaster Recovery plans are developed, documented, tested, and implemented.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A minimum of 6 years' experience in working in datacentre technologies.
  • Hand-on experience on datacentre network and DCNM tool and EVPN understanding.
  • Extensive experience on routing, switching, Infoblox, DNS, Gigamon.
  • Experience in network operations.

Salary

The estimated salary range for this role is $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience. This is a base estimate only and may vary based on individual circumstances.
