This is an opportunity to be part of a team that deploys and automates one of the world's largest and complex networks. As a Network Engineer working within AWS Infrastructure, you will be responsible for deploying network infrastructure across all of our network fabrics that supports Amazon Retail Service, Kindle, Payments, and multiple AWS services.

The successful candidate will work closely with our automation teams in defining tools that allow us to scale at unprecedented volume. You'll have the opportunity to deploy, scale, and automate our network across multiple global datacenters, including existing footprints and greenfield locations.

Key job responsibilities include:

  • Deploying network infrastructure across all of our network fabrics that support various services.
  • Scaling the network across multiple global datacenters.
  • Creating and improving simple, repetitive deployment processes that increase both velocity and quality of delivery.
  • Working closely with internal customers on designs/solutions, bringing those designs/solutions from concept to production.
  • Creating and updating our network standards and ensuring that the network is deployed to these standards.

Basic qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Telecommunications, or similar program graduating in 2024.
  • Experience working in a Linux/Unix environment.
  • Experience scripting in languages such as Python, Perl, or Shell.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year.
