Job Role

As a key player in our operations, you will oversee daily activities ensuring seamless functioning of our services. Your role will be pivotal in coordinating and supervising operational tasks to guarantee safe, punctual, and customer-focused transportation services.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations including fleet management, maintenance, safety protocols, personnel management, and contractor coordination.
  • Embody a strong safety culture through visible leadership, adherence to regulations, and continuous improvement.
  • Support and engage with drivers and staff, addressing rosters, pay queries, and workplace concerns promptly and fairly.
  • Ensure compliance with company, client, and legislative requirements.
  • Lead safety investigations, assessments, and driver evaluations.
  • Monitor and enhance operational performance through registers, compliance checks, and reporting.
  • Deliver toolbox talks, pre-starts, and clear communication of company and client updates.
The Requirements
  • A current MR license with passenger accreditation (Driver Authority).
  • Completion of Chain of responsibility; Driver and scheduler course for fatigue management strategies (or the ability to obtain).
  • Tertiary qualifications in Logistics or Transport based discipline or equivalent industry experience.
  • Knowledge of the Coach Transport Industry Experience in administrative, logistics, or transport roles highly regarded.
  • Experience with Distinctive Systems (Coach Manager) or other scheduling software desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate influence written and verbally with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, coach, and mentor high performing teams to maintain employee engagement.
