Operations Supervisor Job Description

In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, ensuring the efficient functioning of our services. As an Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating all aspects of transportation services across Central Queensland and the Bowen Basin.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Daily Operations: Oversee fleet management, maintenance, safety protocols, people management, and contractor coordination.
  • Champion a Strong Safety Culture: Foster a culture of compliance and continuous improvement through visible leadership and guidance.
  • Support Staff and Drivers: Ensure rosters are managed fairly, pay queries are addressed promptly, and workplace concerns are resolved efficiently.
  • Adhere to Requirements: Ensure compliance with company, client, and legislative requirements, including fatigue management and reporting.
  • Investigate Incidents: Lead investigations, assessments, and driver evaluations to ensure operational safety.
  • Monitor Performance: Track operational performance through registers, compliance checks, and reporting to identify areas for improvement.
  • Communicate Effectively: Deliver toolbox talks, pre-starts, and clear communication of company and client updates to staff.
