Job Overview

This role entails overseeing daily operations to guarantee seamless and efficient service delivery. As an Operations Supervisor, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring safe, punctual, and customer-focused transportation services.

Your primary responsibility will be to champion a strong safety culture through visible leadership, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Ensure daily operations are conducted safely, efficiently, and effectively.
  • Implement and maintain a robust safety program to minimize risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Manage and engage with drivers and staff, addressing rosters, pay queries, and workplace concerns promptly and fairly.
  • Oversee adherence to company, client, and legislative requirements.
  • Lead and support safety investigations, assessments, and driver evaluations.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A valid MR license with passenger accreditation (Driver Authority).
  • Completion of Chain of Responsibility; Driver and Scheduler course for effective fatigue management.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Logistics or Transport, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Knowledge of the Coach Transport Industry and experience in administrative, logistics, or transport roles.
  • Familiarity with scheduling software such as Distinctive Systems (Coach Manager) is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills to develop, coach, and mentor high-performing teams.
